Requirements for Becoming a Member of BTCUT SACCO:
- A member must be between the ages of 18 and 75 years.
- Membership fee of 20,000 UGX (non-refundable).
- Must buy at least one share, which costs 20,000 UGX.
- Project fund of 30,000 UGX.
- Passbook at 5,000 UGX for keeping transaction records.
- Must buy at least one share every time they take a loan.
- Uniform is optional.
- Must be of good conduct with a clean record in the community.
- Monthly welfare fee of 10,000 UGX. Failure to pay will result in deduction from the member’s account.
Benefits of Becoming a Member of BTCUT SACCO:
- Getting profits at the end of the year on your shares that you own in the SACCO.
- Receiving support of 200,000 UGX in case of any of the following situations:
- Death of a biological relative, i.e., mother, father, wife, husband, or children.
- BTCUT SACCO will provide free tents and chairs to members for their own functions, but members will have to pay operational costs.
- In case of the death of a member, BTCUT SACCO will be represented and will always offer help and support.
